Sometimes when I'm in between more involved paintings, I like to do some quick sketches. They are fun, fast, and help me loosen up when I start getting nit picky on larger paintings. Most of these were done early mornings and no more than about 10 to 15mins each.
Quick sketches are a great way to work out compositions, working out details, and overall, they help me to get into a creative space.
